afternoon admiring hand-quilted items at the
Hawaiian Quilt Collection shop in Waikoloa Village.
Later, uncover the art of Lauhala weaving, crafting
hala leaves into stunning Hawaiian pieces in a
hands-on workshop.B
DAY 7 WAIKOLOA – HILO
Begin your day at Quilt Passions and Needlework
Shop, where you can indulge in a vibrant array of
tropical-patterned quilting cottons and lush batik
prints. Visit the Kona Hawaiian Quilt Museum and
Gallery, appreciating the craft and artistry of Hawaiian
quilts. Later, relish a visit to a quaint vanilla farm
before checking into our Hilo hotel, your home for
the next two nights.B
DAY 8 HILO
Kick-start your day in Hilo with a hearty breakfast.
Then, venture to Kilauea Kreations II, where an
assortment of premium Hawaiian-themed quilting
cottons and supplies awaits you. Enjoy a group lunch
at the local favorite, Lava Rock Café, before setting
off to the Volcano National Park. Marvel at the
steam vents of Crater Rim Drive and the breathtaking
views of Halema’uma’u Crater. Return to our resort
for some relaxation before our customary farewell

DAY 9 HILO – TOUR ENDS
Greet the dawn in Hawaii one last time, exchange
contacts with your new quilting companions, and
prepare for your journey home. Head to the airport
at your leisure, carrying a piece of Hawaii in your
